Drawing is everything for me..it makes me happy.. I love loveee to draw, but facial feature like:- eyes👀,nose👃,lips👄 are the hardest things for me to draw.
This is a tutorial on how to draw an eye👀(step by step) below:
It is very simple but may take a few tries to get right.😉
The things I used in this tutorial is📝;
A. 2 Different kinds of pencils. a dark 4B or 6B, and a lighter HB
B. An eraser
C. Paper Blending Stump
D. Paper
Lets begin,
Step 1 : draw an angle or line
Take any picture as you like. I took this picture as reference,now draw a line/angle like this from inner corner to outer corner. Make sure the inner corner(next to the nose) is lower than the outer corner.
Step 2:- Outline
Now draw the basic outline(almond-shaped) for the eye.
Step3:-Eyeball 👀 and upper and lower eyelid,waterline.
Now draw the eyeball, draw the crease of upper eyelid and lowerlid and waterline. P. S I am very sorry here I forget to draw the waterline..
Step4:-Pupil and Highlight
Draw pupil in the center of the eyeball and then draw highlight, if you want you can also draw the highlight first.
Step 5:-Eyelashes
Lightly draw few lashes..it will help you to show where you want lashes later...Fill it later
Step6:- Shading
Start shading,fill the pupil first with dark 4B/6B..then shade other part with HB like;eyeball, inside of the eye, outer part of the eye.. Do not shade highlight and waterline area. Now you will need a stamp and smudge shading areas it will give you a realistic effect trust me.
Step7:-Eyeball filling
Now zoom this picture and observe very carefully.. draw some lines inside of the pupil. Use some dark pencil and make some lines darker in some areas now shade outer surface of the eyeball with dark pencil which will add depth to the eye and I also fill little part of highlight area as in the reference picture.
Step8:- Fill the eyelashes and finishing touches
Now fill the lashes with sharp dark pencil and also you can draw few blood vessels if you want. Make sure the the eyelashes of the innercorner is smaller than the outer corner.Patiently draw eyelashes one by one. Look! eyelashes are not brush so you have to draw it very delicately and carefully, and then add some finishing touches....congrts!! Your all done😀
And and and never stop learning or working for what you want. Nothing comes easy, ever, if you want something, you have to work for it. practice makes perfect.so keep practicing 👍👍💪
